Medir a intenção de voto dos candidatos a Prefeito do Município, mediante a aplicação de questionário estruturado a uma amostra representativa do eleitorado do Município, entrevistas efetuadas a domiciliar e presencial, foi realizada nos dias 23 de Setembro de 2016 com eleitores de 16 anos ou mais residente. A pesquisa e foi do tipo quantitativo.

Município com 26.888 Sendo 13.928 Sexo Feminino e 12.960 do Sexo Masculino ( Dados do TER de Setembro de 2016) Tamanho da Amostra de 411 Eleitores, com Nível de Confiança de 95%. Margem de Erros Amostral máxima de 4,80% percentuais para mais ou para menos nos dados da amostra. Auto Ponderada por quotas proporcionais existentes de acordo com as variáveis: Sexo Masculino 48,2% e Sexo Feminino 51,8%, Faixa Etária: 16 a 24 anos 15%, 25 a 34 anos 21%, 35 a 44 anos 20%, 45 a 59 anos 26%, 60 anos ou mais 18%. Grau de Instrução: Analfabeto 9%, Lê e Escreve 7%, Ensino Fundamental 36%, Ensino Médio 33%, Ensino Superior 15%. Todo Entrevistador foi previamente treinado para a realização desta prévia eleitoral, tanto parte teórica com na prática, além de receberem orientações especificas para esta pesquisa. São Realizadas por uma equipe e fiscalizadas por Supervisor com checagem de 20% no local da pesquisa.
